Responsible Gaming

Version: 1.0  |  Last Updated: 30 July 2026

At Energy Casino, we believe that gambling should be an enjoyable, entertaining, and safe leisure activity. We are firmly committed to promoting responsible gambling practices and to providing every Player with the tools, information, and support needed to maintain control over their gaming behaviour. This Responsible Gaming Policy forms an integral part of our Terms & Conditions and should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. Our Commitment

1.1. A Safe Gaming Environment

Energy Casino is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of player protection. Our responsible gaming programme is built on four core principles:

  • Prevention: Proactively educating Players about the risks of gambling and the warning signs of problem gambling;
  • Protection: Providing effective tools that enable Players to manage and limit their gambling activity;
  • Early Intervention: Identifying vulnerable players through behavioural monitoring and offering timely support;
  • Support: Connecting Players with professional help organisations where gambling-related harm is identified.

1.2. Gambling Is Entertainment, Not Income

Gambling should be viewed strictly as a form of entertainment. It is not a reliable source of income, a way to resolve financial difficulties, or a method to recover previous losses. The house edge means that, over time, the Platform will generate revenue. Every Player should gamble only with funds they can afford to lose and should never wager money allocated to essential living expenses such as rent, food, or bills.

1.3. Minimum Age

Energy Casino strictly prohibits access to the Platform by any individual under the age of 18 years. Age verification is conducted as part of the KYC process for all registered Players. Any account found to belong to a minor will be closed immediately, and all funds will be returned to the relevant depositing payment method.

2. Recognising Problem Gambling

2.1. Warning Signs Checklist

Problem gambling develops gradually and can affect anyone, regardless of background or experience. Ask yourself the following questions honestly. The more questions to which You answer “yes”, the more important it is that You seek help:

  1. Do you find yourself gambling with money that should be used for essential living costs, such as rent, food, or bills?
  2. Have you tried to reduce or stop gambling but found yourself unable to do so despite your best efforts?
  3. Do you feel restless, irritable, or anxious when you attempt to cut down or stop gambling?
  4. Do you gamble as a way to escape from stress, problems, depression, or emotional difficulties?
  5. Have you ever lied to family members, friends, or colleagues about the extent of your gambling activity?
  6. Have you borrowed money, sold possessions, or committed any dishonest act in order to fund gambling?
  7. Do you find that you need to gamble with increasingly larger sums of money to experience the same level of excitement?
  8. After losing, do you feel a strong compulsion to return and try to win back the money you have lost (“chasing losses”)?
  9. Has your gambling habit caused significant tension, conflict, or harm in your personal relationships, workplace, or financial life?
  10. Do you feel a preoccupation with gambling — constantly thinking about your next session, planning strategies, or reliving previous bets?

If you answered “yes” to three or more of these questions, we strongly encourage you to use our Player Protection Tools below and to contact one of the support organisations listed in Section 6.

3. Player Protection Tools

3.1. Deposit Limits

Players may set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits to control the maximum amount of money they can deposit into their Account over a given period. Deposit limits take effect immediately when reduced and require a mandatory cooling-off period before they can be increased, to prevent impulsive decisions.

3.2. Loss Limits

A loss limit restricts the maximum net amount a Player can lose within a set period (daily, weekly, or monthly). Once the limit is reached, Real Money Play will be suspended for the remainder of the period. As with deposit limits, reductions take immediate effect and increases are subject to a review period.

3.3. Session Time Limits

Players may set a maximum duration for any individual gaming session. Once the defined session time is reached, the Player will be automatically logged out of the Platform. This tool is designed to prevent excessive session durations.

3.4. Reality Checks

Players may activate reality check notifications, which generate on-screen reminders at configurable intervals (e.g., every 30, 60, or 90 minutes). These reminders display information about session duration and net win/loss to encourage informed decision-making during play.

3.5. Cooling-Off Periods

A Cooling-Off Period is a temporary suspension of Real Money Play for a defined duration chosen by the Player. Available periods include 24 hours, 48 hours, 7 days, and 30 days. During a Cooling-Off Period, the Player cannot access Games or receive bonus communications. The Cooling-Off Period cannot be shortened once activated. Players may still log in to manage account settings and request withdrawals of their remaining Balance.

3.6. Self-Exclusion

Self-Exclusion is a more permanent measure available to Players who recognise that their gambling has become harmful. Players may self-exclude for the following periods:

  • 3 months;
  • 6 months;
  • 12 months;
  • 5 years;
  • Permanent (indefinite exclusion).

During Self-Exclusion, the Player’s Account is suspended, all marketing communications are stopped, and the Player cannot create a new Account. Self-Exclusion takes immediate effect. After the period expires (excluding permanent exclusion), the Player must contact Customer Support to request reinstatement following a mandatory cooling-off review.

To activate Self-Exclusion, visit Your Account settings or contact us at [email protected].

3.7. How to Activate Tools

All Player Protection Tools are available directly within Your Account dashboard under the “Responsible Gaming” section. Alternatively, You may contact our Customer Support team at [email protected], and a representative will activate the chosen tool on Your behalf within 24 hours.

4. Tips for Responsible Gambling

4.1. Practical Guidelines

We recommend the following principles to all Players to help ensure gambling remains a positive and controlled activity:

  • Set a budget before you play and stick to it. Never exceed the amount you have pre-determined as affordable to lose.
  • Set time limits for each gambling session and respect them.
  • Never chase losses. Accept that losses are a normal part of gambling and resist the urge to try to win them back.
  • Do not gamble under the influence of alcohol, prescription medication, or any other substance that may impair your judgement.
  • Take regular breaks. Step away from the screen periodically to maintain perspective.
  • Balance gambling with other leisure activities. Gambling should be one of many hobbies, not your primary source of entertainment.
  • Do not view gambling as a financial strategy. The house edge means gambling is not a reliable way to make money.
  • Keep family and friends informed about your gambling activity, and listen to their concerns if they express worry.

5. Protection of Minors

5.1. Our Age Verification Commitment

Energy Casino employs rigorous age verification procedures as part of our KYC process to ensure that no individual under the age of 18 is able to access real money gambling services on the Platform. We reserve the right to request proof of age at any point and to suspend Accounts pending verification.

5.2. Recommendations for Parents & Guardians

Parents and guardians should take an active role in preventing minors from accessing gambling content online. We recommend the following measures:

  • Install reputable parental control and internet filtering software on all household devices;
  • Keep your login credentials private and do not allow minors to use your device while you are logged in to the Platform;
  • Educate children and young people about the risks associated with gambling;
  • Monitor internet usage and browser history regularly.

Recommended parental control software solutions include Net Nanny, Kaspersky Safe Kids, and Norton Family, among others.

5.3. Reporting Underage Access

If You suspect that a minor has accessed or is attempting to access the Platform, please report this immediately to our Customer Support team at [email protected]. We will investigate all such reports promptly and take appropriate action.
